I installed these in the doors of my motor home hoping to decrease the road noise. The install was relatively easy and the product is high quality. Iβm not yet sure if it did the trick as I havenβt driven the motor home out on the road yet.

Soundskin Pro is thicker than expected, feels like a 2 in 1 product. Good and weighty to keep noise at bay

Easy to install and you quickly find out how little a roll will actually cover. My only complaint is how fragile the top foam layer is. Itβs easily damaged if youβre not careful. Thankfully itβll all be hidden under carpeting/panels but if youβre any kind of OCD like me youβll have to expect that you wonβt get a perfect install unless you intend to spend way more time than necessary for installation.

Easy installation well packaged

This product really just became my new "go to" sound deadener material! It's durable and really leaves the doors of my Toyota Corolla sounding and feeling WAY more expensive than they should. I didn't test the decibel level difference, but there is a noticeable amount of road noise that has disappeared after covering SoundSkins Pro on all 4 doors. My conversations can be heard much more clearly in the car without having to raise my voice now. I definitely recommend this to anyone with hollow sounding doors and lots of road noise!

Installed on both front doors in my 2011 Mazda 3, doors sound a lot more solid and they donβt sound hollow like they used to. It does a good job reducing road noise when driving. Reduces the amount of rattling when I play music and sounds a lot better with my stock speakers. Iβm very satisfied with the results so far. I plan to buy more to install to the back doors. I think it will help even more!

Bought this product for my 2006 Chevy Silverado. It made a huge difference in road nose and now the stereo sounds better than ever!!

Awesome stuff. Really cut down on road noise and miscellaneous vibrations. Used this throughout my whole Volvo wagon. Highly recommended. Plan to use this in another build of mine too!

Such a great product. I installed it on my Porsche doors and will be buying more to cover the floors and trunk! Highly recommend.

Been with Soundskins since the v1 rings. Only deadener I will use.

Great product. The foam layer on top is easy to work with and absorbs vibrations and sounds better than the other options without the foam. You don't have to keep layering different products either. The large roll makes it easy to cover an entire door instead of using pieces.

The mustang has long doors so I had to get one roll per side. The difference was amazing after putting this on. Definitely improved the mid bass on the B&O upgrade speakers. Will definitely recommend this to all. I put generic CLD on the outer door and the SoundSkins as you see

Best product for dampening 100% recommend it!

Soundskins makes some really great products! I'm currently in the middle of insulating the doors on my 2013 Impreza wrx. In the description it says that 2 rolls will cover 4 doors but that hasn't worked out for me. I'm going to need another half of a roll at least to insulate the final door - I have just a few scraps left over. The improvements that have been made from installing new speakers and insulating the doors has been substantial, even with only finishing 3 doors so far and while still running the stock head unit. I can immediately feel the bass shake my clothing and give some actual kick, with less noticeable road noise when driving. The mids and highs sound a little better, maybe it's attributed to all of the rattles being gone. With a better head unit I will be able to get more out of my system. I also like how the doors sound solid now when opening and closing them -very much like a luxury car. All of the small details matter here and it's worth doing it right.

Well made !! Like how they combine anti rattle material with soft outer material so you get the best of both worlds. No rattle and warm acoustical environment

Still working on the trunk side. I put another CLD in a few year back and due to the heat has become a problem. I am using the Sound Skins to cover that up and give me a layer of vibration control between the finishing of my audio system.

I have been using this product for awhile. The rings and pro. Quality, convenience, reliability, and craftsmanship on point.

Used the Soundskins pro door kit on an S550 Mustang. I was able to deaden the outer skin and cover much of the inner panel, including lining the speaker mounts. Response is much improved, less acoustic loss and reduced vibration in the door itself. As a bonus, thereβs far less road noise as well. Soundskins works great and is easy handle, very effective!

I have a 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Itβs supposed to be light weight. I went with SoundSkins Pro because it wasnβt going to add more than 40 lbs to the car. Itβs added 12 quieting pounds of weight. I put Pro in my doors, transmission tunnel, bulkhead and trunk. I have scraps leftover and thatβs it. I will be finishing off the trunk, adding more to the doors and seating area. I appreciate the recommendation from a fellow Miata.net member.
