How the Three Layers Work
Most door treatments need two products: a butyl mat against the metal and a foam layer on top. SoundSkins Pro bonds them into one sheet. The rubber butyl adds mass to the door skin so it stops ringing, the foil keeps the butyl pressed tight to the panel, and the closed-cell foam absorbs airborne noise and cushions the trim panel so it can't rattle against the metal. Plan Your Four-Door Install

One roll per pair of doors: Use the first roll for the front doors and the second for the rears. This keeps your cuts organized.

Start with the outer skin behind each speaker, then cover the inner skin access holes.

Use offcuts on the trim: Small leftover pieces work well where the door panel touches metal.

Apply at 50°F to 70°F on metal cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, and press each piece down firmly with a roller.

Keep clear of window tracks, lock rods and the drain holes at the bottom of each door.
