I recently used this roller tool to install sound deadening material in my Ford Bronco, and it's been a game-changer. The roller makes it easy to smooth out the material as I apply it, ensuring a solid, even bond with no air pockets. Pretty decent kit. The front two pieces didn't align on 2021 Tesla Y. Had to trim the pieces. Also watched the video, it recommended to cut driver carpet to remove. After trying to cut it for 30 minutes and not making any progress, I was able to remove the clip by reaching from rear-passenger side. It was effortless then, I was able to remove the clip in 10 seconds.
I ordered the Pro shop kit and roller to redo the system in my F150. The kit was just enough to do the majority of my truck excluding the roof. That will be next. The roller was top notch and aided in the install tremendously. I can imagine trying to complete the job without it.
Good roller for $10. My only issue is that the edges can be a bit sharp. In my case the sharp edge of the roller caused some small tears in the wavy foam.
The roller does its job. My one complaint is that there's an excessive amount of play between the poly roller-head and the axle it rolls on, but this didn't hinder my using it at all (just seems cheap). A shorter handle would make it easier to use on the inside panel of the doors, but its still usable. Worth the price.
Door panels fit perfect. Sticks amazing. No smell. Works beautifully. Running Alpine Typer R's in all doors, 2 mojo 8in @ 1 OHM, 2000 watts. Truck doesn't rattle. Would recommend for sure!
I wish they did have them in different sizes there to go today and two smaller spaces are narrower grooves and whatnot but overall it made the job a hell of a lot easier.
